About Me!
Since studying at the Royal Northern College of Music I have enjoyed a multi-faceted career as a professional oboe player, teacher and reed maker. I have been fortunate to perform with a great many well known orchestras and ensembles in the UK and abroad and my educational work has ranged from conservatory and specialist music school teaching in the UK to orchestral coaching in the Middle-East.
Always enjoying making reeds, I have been making for other players for over 25 years and I gave my first reed making class at the RNCM while I was still a student!
Since 2008 I have been devoting more and more time to reed making and now the reeds are in constant demand with customers all around the world.
My reed making style has naturally evolved over many years of listening and playing and I am truly excited to be making reeds which help other musicians to perform in many varied circumstances. I hope the reeds will be useful for you too.
